The table below shows required thicknesses of different insulation materials to achieve a cold face temperature of 700C for given hot face temperature.

The above table is a guide only and thicknesses will vary according to application. The insulation is assumed to be flat and an ambient temperature of 200C. A combination of materials can be used to achieve the required proprieties.
